At approximately 9pm the official lottery operators web page for the UK “unavailable” with a number of error messages being received by users trying to sign into their accounts. For online players who had purchased Lucky Dips or numbers that differed from those they may have usually used, this was more than a little frustrating.

As the jackpot rolled for an eighth time on the Tuesday draw interest in the game intentisified but have the draw numbers this evening revealed a winner or has the jackpot rolled for an impressive ninth time? Tonight's UK lottery results boasted a double rollover jackpot for Lotto that was estimated at a rather impressive £9.5 million, a midweek jackpot amount of this proportion has not been seen since May 23rd when it rolled for a third time only to be won on the Saturday. The midweek draws never attract quite as much attention as the Lotto games on a Saturday although the £9.5 million jackpot will have generated more interest midweek that a standard non-rollover jackpot of around the £2 million mark.
