Once again, for the third consecutive draw, the number 9 was drawn as one of the two Lucky Stars; it appeared in last Friday’s drawn and on Tuesday. Whilst this number didn’t help to find a jackpot winner on the previous two draws it did tonight! Two winners shared the jackpot, one ticket holder was from Belgium and the other from the UK.

When ticket sales were tallied the final jackpot rolled in at £ meaning that the UK winner will be banking a cheque for £63,837,543.60 whilst the Belgium winner is now €79,026,422.

There were 24 winners who matched five main balls and one Lucky Star of which eight were from the UK. In total there were nearly 6 million winners thanks to tonight’s Euromillions results, nearly 3.5 million of which matched just two main balls to take the lower prize tier which has a value of £2.60 tonight.

The Euromillions jackpot now resets to the minimum amount of an estimated £12 million for Tuesday’s draw.
