Many people will be hoping that tonight the “fourth will be with them” as there is a rollover Euromillions jackpot on offer of and estimated £21 million as the Tuesday night draw saw the jackpot unclaimed. Although not as high as we have previously seen from the Euromillions it’s still a life changing amount of money and we thought we would take a look at the most recent winners on the game, the numbers that were drawn and find if there were any numbers that stood out over the last 15 winning Euromillions draws.
The most common drawn numbers, according to the statistical data on the official UK lottery operator’s page, are (in ranked order):
- 50, 12, 4, 19 and 14 as main balls (36 has been drawn the same amount of times as the number 14)
- 3 and 5 as Lucky Stars
However what we wanted to look at were the numbers that have created jackpot winners. Which of the 50 main balls have appeared in the Euromillions results that have seen the jackpot won. There are three numbers that have all appeared four times in the results as main balls that have created jackpot winners and these are (with their draw dates):
- 23 – appeared on 23rd March, 16th March, 16th December 2011 and 11th November 2011
- 27 – appeared on 27th April, 27th March, 20th January and 2nd December 2011
- 30 – appeared on 27th April, 2nd March, 20th January and 11th November 2011
There are then nine other numbers that have been drawn as main balls a total of three times from the last 15 Euromillions results that have contributed to the jackpot being won:
- 3, 6, 10, 12, 26, 28, 31, 34 and 43
For the Lucky Stars the most common number to be drawn in the last 15 winning Euromillions results is the number 8, it has been one of the two Lucky Stars drawn for jackpot winners on six occasions. There are then two Lucky Stars who have both appeared four times in the last 15 winning Euromillions results and these are the numbers 2 and 7.
It will be interesting to see, if there is a winner tonight, if any of these numbers come out again!
All of the information was taken from the Euromillions results pages here at Lotto Hideout and from the Euromillions Frequency Checker available on the official UK lottery operator’s site.
